Loraine Crespo [founder of SHOBIZFIT] Biography

Founder and master choreographer of Shobiz Fit, Loraine Crespo, was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Since her childhood, she dreamt of becoming a professional dancer, being part of a music group, and acting. She was ready to be a triple threat. As a teenager, she loved spending time on the beach, going to the movies or concerts with friends, and spending time at the local coffee shop. Entertainment was already in her and calling her.

Something many may not know about her is that she graduated with a degree in accounting. But her love for dancing never stopped. She was a cheerleader throughout college. She also trained in jazz, and choreography, and learned the foundation of Ballet, which gave her the knowledge she needed to start her career as a stage dancer and choreographer.

Loraine started off as a backup dancer for a local Venezuelan group. Quickly, she found her way to some of the biggest stages around the world and in music videos, with some of the most well-renowned names in Pop culture. To this day, Loraine has been behind the magic of Pitbull, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Maluma, Ricky Martin, Zion y Lennox, Chyno y Nacho, Ozuna, Farruko, Becky G, Karol G, Natti Natasha, and so many more.

It was during this leg of her career, that she started to find the need to create something unique to keep herself healthy while staying engaged. Though she understood the power of exercising, she often felt unmotivated by what was available as a form of workout. It was then that her worlds collided.

She recognized that dancing was, and still is, a very effective form of exercising and she was well versed in the matter, so she had the tools to create something that would get her up and moving in no time. That is how Shobiz Fit was born.

There, her love of the entertainment industry, her experience as a professional dancer, and her passion for fitness collided with one business idea that would also fill her desire to help women.

She knew what dance had done for her as a person, as a woman, and she was ready to share her experience, and the confidence she had gained thanks to her career. Five years in, she helps women across the country regain their confidence and sensuality. And it all happens during a 60-minute dance workout consisting of 30 minutes of cardio, and 30 minutes of choreography instruction.

These are not your typical dance workouts though. First, Loraine’s personality and energy are a big part of what makes the class unique. She’s a woman who creates a safe and fun environment for the women in her classes to enjoy dancing and working out. She also brings all her experience, creating stage-ready choreographies that make everyone want to give it their best. And the first 30 minutes are an entire cardio routine, which makes all the difference in her clients’ health and fitness goals.

Loraine accomplished a lot in her career, like dancing at the Latin Grammys, Madison Square Garden, and the renowned Viña del Mar, and gaining the recognition and respect of artists, producers, and video directors alike. She now sees the impact she has on her clients through Shobiz Fit’s weekly classes and monthly dance masterclasses, and recognizes the increased level of satisfaction as she sees the lives of her clients transformed.
